Which box-set? What does it include? I still have to get some albums of theirs, and this might just as well be the right way, if it includes at least their best albums (I'm guessing they must be from the 70's).

SBB is a great band. Jozek Skrzek also has some brilliant solo/live albums to his credit like Pamietnik Karoliny, Koncert Swietokrzyski, and Czas (with Michal Banasik) where he goes nuts on his Moog synths.

That boxset is worth every penny, you can also pick it up for a decent price on amazon used

I`ve been into SBB. For a few yrs. But One   stole all my SBB cd`s. so I`m  can you still buy there music.

Well, I "hope" not too soon... (just kidding). I am still struggling with getting through the bonus material alone on the 22 disc "Anthology - which is not even their complete discography. Some of the material is really good, too!
And that's before some archive recordings by Polish, Czech and DDR broadcasts from around '73-'74. Again, some great gems there and to date, only heard on radio, perhaps once - if at all.

"Karlstad" is my fave, too. The reality is that most of their works are excellent and rather unique. I am especially fond of the Live performances with plenty of grunt in the '70s. More recent releases are somewhat refined and laid back in comparison, but still quality music, no doubt.

For the longest time, I only liked Memento because all their other albums were so different from that. And by like, I mean I LOVED Memento. I got back to listening to them and I now UNDERSTAND Pamiec, Wolanie, and Slowem. All, I believe, are masterpieces for different reasons.

SBB is an amazing and often overlooked band. Pamiec is a freakin' masterpiece. Such a unique and passionate album. I haven't gone through all of their albums yet, but i am slowly getting around to it.
