A friend of mine tried getting me into Magma for Zeuhl, but it just didn't really click with me. I should probably try again. As for the other three, I just haven't had a starting/reference point.

Prog-folk is amazing. I recommend ignoring Tull for a bit and checking out Comus (First Utterance), Jan Dukes de Grey (Mice and Rats in the Loft), and Strawbs (Ghosts and Grave New World).
I've tried Comus and remember thinking that they were alright and worth another listen. The other two I haven't listened to and shall investigate.
And if you wanna try out some more Canterbury, I recommend both of Hatfield And The North's two albums, Egg - The Polite Force, and any of the well-regarded albums by Caravan.

Indo/Raga is the only sub I havent listened to anything from. There are a few others that I'm not particularly well versed in, mainly Zeul, Post/Math- Rock, Krautrock, and Electronic. With the first two I havent found much I care aout so far but may do at some point, the other two I really dont care for.

excellent suggestion. I would add also the GONG's flying teapot trilogy.
For Zeuhl I suggest starting with Xing Sa, Eskaton, Setna, Eider Stallaire and Universal Totem Orchestra which are probably the easiest to approach, before getting on Magma, Shun-Niggurath and so on.

I have really researched most of the genres here, but with RPI I feel I need a tour guide, such a staggering amount of little known bands..it is almost like a all-in or nothing thing with RPI :P
my small humble list, now I am a bit of a completest so bands I do list I have all the albums or most of them: Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Delerium, Festa Mobile, I Quelli, Jacula, Le Orme, L'Uovo di Colombo, PFM, Goblin, Balletto DiBronzo, Area, Maxophone, Osanna, Museo Rosenbach ..
ones I have properly labeled anyway I know I have more of the newer RPI albums released in the last few years too..
