If I picked up as many books as you did beers, I'd be like my students.

Reminds me of Peter Piper picking a peck of pickled peppers.
My beer intake used to be considerable, but I've cut it out of my diet completely in recent years.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

If you didn't drink beer then you wouldn't drop all those books you're having to pick up.

Yep, a man with similar tastes in alcohol. That being said, during the week (for now, at least) you'd pick up 0 books, on weekends, between Friday and Saturday a maximum of like...8, depending on the preceding week.

I'm a pretty big reader (I'd say around two or three hours per day, excluding web and work), but there is no way that I'm picking more than three books a day (maybe if the daily newspaper counts as one)...
and when I do.... It's most likely Belgo-French comics books (I'm a little further advanced than Tintin or Asterix in that regard)
BTW, although Belgian... wine or a single malt, please

1-3. This goes for both books and beers. But although I am a North-of-Belgian (a.k.a. Lagerlander), a wine, whisky or wodka might please me equally.
