Os Mundi, added as an Eclectic one in PA, is one of my favourite Kraut bands. Heart

This album (including Sanctus mentioned above by Pierre) is a masterpiece. Cool

True Damo. I knew the Prunes, but I discovered this Os Mundi's album only recently. Impressive and deeply kraut.

TALIX : SPUREN (German band 1971). Can we call this Kraut ? Not really or maybe the guitar in the second song Elena.

A compilation of rare studio and live tracks from the band, circa 1978-1980, not on RVNG Intl.'s Music Is Painting In The Air... collection. On 180 gram vinyl with CD of the album. "Formed by Florentine guitarist Franco Falsini (formerly of Noi Tre) and American drummer Keith Edwards, Sensations' Fix was one of the most exciting acts to come out of the Italian music scene of the 1970s. Beginning in 1974, from their outpost in the Florentine countryside, Falsini and Edwards (along with bassist Richard Ursillo) recorded a handful of excellent albums that were more closely aligned with the German Krautrock scene of the era than Italian prog."

Sounds very interesting Pierre. Will have to look into this, when I get home from work. Always a pleasure having you around this place

Yep too long. I am doing fine, but I don't spend a lot of time in front of the computer at the moment, because I am keeping myself busy with children who require special attention, plus I started working out a little while back. I still love my music, and if anything, I think I am listening to even more of my collection when I am out running, cycling, lifting weights.
Sorry about leaving you before, but I had to log off, in order to make the bus....
Hope France is treating you right my bewinged friend

I'm OK, as long as I have my fix of sensations. Smile

Take a look at this clip, if you haven't. I posted it here a few days ago.

Siinai - Olympic games is on my Spotify playlist now. Finnish krautrockers that sound like a cross between Kraftwerk and Klaus Schulze.

Here's a video with suitable footage from Jodorovsky's "Holy Mountain"

Not exactly Krautrock, but this band Randy Cool has been around for awhile but hasn't really been noticed yet.

Maybe this is more avant garde, but there is definitely some Krautrock influences.

Check it out...

Amon Duul II - Live at Olympia's tavern 1971
A fine video and the sound is not so bad. Personnaly I hear there something that is missing in their first studio albums ... or is it an optical illusion ?
