Two live albums for me.
King Crimson - Great Deceiver
Genesis - Live

I don't know!  You make all these posts about The Who and whatnot.  Then you don't bother reading what the thread is about!  There are loads of threads about fave live albums!  Still I guess your Australian so its all topsy turvy down thereWink
Look, it was nearly midnight.... Angry
Anyway I would still like to see this live. Problem is we are so starved for Prog down under in my mind a live album is almost the same as a real concert.

I'm not sure anyone could drum like Keith Moon.  I suspect Ringo wouldn't want to; "manic" is not his style.

Kate Bush live , the holy grail for me and especially that album. She would have all sorts of ideas with the presentation. Would be a visual and aural feast.

IQ's EVER. Love to see that whole album performed live as well as OSI's FIRE MAKE THUNDER. It would be a dream come true. Also, to all those IQ fans the album SUBTERREA will be performed for the last time ever in ENGLAND this year. Wish I had tickets to that one. What a great album.

I'm going to set my concert in one of the beautiful natural amphitheatres in the Chiltern Hills in Southern England.

It will be early August and (rare in England) a sunny evening.

Santana (from the days when this was a group rather than a person) will play Caravanserai at sunset and in the early twilight.

After a gap of half an hour or so (to get some beers from the nearby pub), Pink Floyd will play Saucerful of Secrets with full Psychedelic lightshow.

I saw IQ perform the whole album about 12 years ago at the now defunct Astoria in London. One of my favourite gigs ever topped off by an encore performance of the Last Human Gateway ( in its entirety)
Ever is an album I would also love to see done live. Further Away is a hidden jewel of prog rock that they rarely ever (see what I did there?Smile) perform live.

That is incredible!!! What a great experience for you. Gotta admit, I'm quite Jealous. Such a great album and one of the best conceptual albums I've ever heard. Also, did you know that a movie is coming out based on the plot line of the SUBTERREA album? It's true. Go to www.subteraneamovie.com
