I am still recovering from the Tigers getting their butts kicked by the Giants, but otherwise I am doing well. I am listening to various random progressive rocks songs that I have downloaded over the years via PA.

Alabama lost. I've been in ignore mode all day, which is weird for me, since I normally have college football games playing all day long every Saturday.

That song is so bizzare. But also really good Same for Cygnus X-1. The main character gets sent into space, flies into a black hole, wakes up without a body to witness a war between Dionysus, Apollo, and their respective followers, and after ending the war with his silent anger, is made a god.

A little bit more extreme, but what do you think of these fellow Canucks?
No Sci-Fi on this first album, it being a concept album nonetheless, but tons of fantasy and alien stuff on the second album. They're huge Trekkies too.

Right around my 17th birthday. Genesis and Gabriel were about as popular as anyone at the time. I remember I took a summer program at Davidson College during that month. Great times. That's where I first heard ELP (beyond Lucky Man, that is), and the Velvet Underground.
