For the first time in months thoughts from within my mind have visited the front page of the site.  Not just once, but twice even.

I'm pretty sure I won't win any Pulitzers for them, but it was good to get some thoughts "down on paper".

My secluded focus on trading shapes
My elusive purpose holds its hiding place
Drowsy missive underneath the painted May
I missed the room change color

Half of George Carlin's jokes are too extreme for me, but half of them are sooo funny!

Are referring to Carlin's later stuff?  That's the only stuff I could describe as extreme.  (e.g. "I love it when a lot of people die" and cathartic quotes like that).

The more I think about it, the more I think George Carlin probably influenced the way I see the world more than any other individual, with the exception of maybe my dad.

Yeah, his later, more politically charged stuff. I agree with a lot of it, but some of it is too left

I've never found anything Carlin said funny, despite understanding/agreeing with what he's saying.

Wind and Wuthering is such a fantastic album. I love when I go back to an album for the first time in a while and it's even better than I remembered.
