I'd want to see Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett at the UFO Club.

The Beatles were feuding in the studio while recording the White Album. If John Lennon and Yoko Ono had found some way of performing Revolution 9 live on stage with the other Beatles that would be a miracle (without Paul McCartney walking off the stage)!

So I think to be at that gig watching a feuding Beatles attempting to get through playing the White Album would be fascinating.

To answer my own question it would be:

Amon Duul playing Yeti

followed by

Gong playing Camembert Electrique

Playing at The Roundhouse as i've never been.

The Beatles are short a singer and a lead guitarist.

Put the two together and the concert can be Who's Next followed by Abbey Road.

It would be fun watching Ringo interpreting Moon's manic approach to drumming.

I have a hunch he could pull it off surprisingly well.

My two albums would be Captain Beefheart's Lick My Decals Off, Baby and King Crimson's Larks' Tongues in Aspic.

They can still play together, even though the who are still a going concern.

I assume you mean that it is good that the who are still going. I have to agree with that.

Two live albums for me.

Opening - Spock's Beard, playing 'Snow' (only if NM is back with them though )

Main - Genesis: Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (this would entail time travel back to London's Empire Pool in 1974, though )

Jon Lord 1941 - 2012
