That's a lot of Kraftwerk! Not a fan of em, I can barely stand to listen to one in one sitting

I think I might listen to all the Kraftwerk albums in order tonight.  Gotta do something while I'm bed-ridden.

Did this plan pan out? I should listen to the first three albums more. I hope they reissue them officially at some point, maybe including Tone Float which I haven't heard, I only have some very unofficial bootleg versions of the first two albums and the third one I ripped from the library copy. Good stuff for the right mood.

My wife hates Kraftwerk, that's pretty much the only band we disagree on very badly.
I didn't make it, fell asleep around the 3rd album.  It was nice to hear them again though.  I forgot to move them to my iPod, so I won't be listening to them at work today.  They are good music for the right mood, as you say.  I've been mildly in a Kraut mood lately, listened to some Faust and Igor Wahkevitch today too.

The back of my left shoulder is so sore.  I can't get comfortable sitting at my desk.  Every time I move it feels as though I am being stabbed in the back with a knife (or at least what I imagine getting stabbed in the back might feel like).

I had a problem like that a couple of weeks ago.  If I moved slightly the wrong way, I would get a sharp pain.  Once, I sneezed and thought I was being ripped in two.

I'm under the weather today so I'm at home.

Unhappy  I feel your pain.

(not literally, but it's nice to empathize)

I'm doing much better today.  Yesterday I thought I was going to die.  I can be pretty dramatic, but I was unable to even move my eyelids without piercing pain.  It was Top 5 material.

Sorry yr feeling bad, Rob.  Rest up and I hope you feel better.

I know that feeling, except I've only done it to my lower back.

I just wish I could attribute it to doing something heroic or at least athletic, instead of going to bed fine and waking up really sore.  I can't even attribute it to bedroom gymnastics. Cry

I get the impression that the public schools may have been closed today due to the election.  At least the elementary school where I went to vote seemed to lack children running around screaming.

My daughter went with me to vote, and she's here at work with me now, along with my boss's daughter who's about the same age.

I just asked my sister and she said that her boys had today off for the end of the marking period.

My daughter (and most other kids, I presume) has a tendency to be disobedient and smartalecky to me when friends are around.  As if to show off to their friends, "see, I've got my dad under my thumb".. We'll see about that when allowance time comes around.

I noticed that in my siblings, although I've never had that problem.
