"It's pretty good" applies to the studio disc, but the live material is the best version of those tracks in existence.

I'm done, after 2.5 hours.
I can definitely say I like Floyd a lot more than I did earlier today. The album was full of ups and downs; some were excellent (including "Echoes", "Sheep", and "Sorrow"), some were mixed (including most of the songs off "The Wall" and from "The Dark Side of the Moon") and some were right down appalling (including "The Fletcher Memorial Home" and "When the Tigers Broke Free"). All in all it was pretty good.

My wife has loved me in my most abysmal hours, when I, looking back, was unlovable.

I never want to be a parent. I know I shouldn't expect much of little kids, but I hate how ignorant they are! And what if my kid grew up to be stupid or mean or something like that? I couldn't handle it. Plus I wouldn't know what would be right to teach them or how to handle them. Luckily I won't even have seriously think about having a child for a couple of decades or more.

That came out sounding bad.....I actually don't dislike little kids despite not having any....i adore them really, it's more the nightmare of the CeC environment that got me....and I think parents are to be commended for their efforts....and CeC employees shoould make about $50 an hour if there were any justice.

Jim, I don't believe you ever told me if you were married or with someone.  So who is We?  Wink

And sorry if you did tell me.  I forget lots of things.

I find childhood ignorance to be a wonderful thing.

Teenage ignorance, on the other hand...  Wink

I agree with that. :P

I don't think I could raise a kid, at least not any time soon.

Also there was a cool a AMA from a former Chuck E Cheese employee on reddit a long time ago that was very enlightening.

Something you should know about having children:

Your children begin as newborns.  They exist to (as my grandma put it), "eat, sleep, poop, and piss."

But in the time they are doing all that, you will see things in them- just as your parents saw in you.  Wink

You will bond, and as time goes, you will love your child beyond measure.

Some of us love ours as soon as we receive news that they are there in their mother's body.

Having children (especially deliver my third child) has made me a different person.

It's a beautiful thing.

Somehow, even when I was wishing the sleepless nights would be over, I now wish I could go back.

That sounds like something I'll enjoy and appreciate when I am older but want nothing to do with at the moment. I always feel that by having a child, your time is up and it's now the child's time.
