tho i do like mono, and, with some exceptions, I think it's more enjoyable

The Beatles Mono Box was a great acquisition.  So glad I got that.  It was hard to justify since I had all the albums already in stereo, but I just kept hearing such great things about the mono mixes.  And they sound great.  They actually sound like a band instead of a studio project.

Hey, that sounds really cool! And in the world of classical, i feel the mono era is the best (and it doesn't hurt that they had better conductors, orchestras, singers and soloists back then)
