My wife would vote for Game of Thrones (I haven't seen it yet), my brother would vote for Breaking Bad - but I have to go with The Walking Dead.
However, if you had included Lost and/or Battlestar Galactica, I'd have gone with one of those. (And if you included both of those, my head would have exploded .)

No love for the Dead on here.
Are people sick of the Zombie genre?

I could never follow a show on television (commercials mess with my mind).
The only televised program I watch is chronological Twilight Zone on Netflix. I've got a friend who likes Breaking Bad and I highly respect his input, so I'll probably try that one if I can find an extremely cheap means of seeing it sans commercials.
He also recommended to me Twin Peaks, which was apparently run by David Lynch. Luckily for me, Netflix has all of it. For some silly reason Netflix shows every season of the original Twilight Zone except the fourth.

None in the list presented...
I follow very few series (no time for that) and never on the tube...
Whenever I do... it's through renting the DVDs
Sons Of Anarchy (though there is simply too much going on, too much treachery as well)
Californication (that's my fave)
Weeds (it's gotten too silly of late)
And that's about it...
I followed Hung, but apprently it's over

I really like Homeland a lot, the original Israeli version is also very
good, quite different but also good. Anyway I most deffinitely am going
with Breaking Bad, I rarely stumble across a show which all seasons are
superb.

Cool, I hope you won't loose interest, the forth season is simply delicious. Can't wait for the final sixth season (only eight episodes I think...)

Tough choice between The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Dexter for me, think I'll go GoT this time.

From those, "Breaking Bad", and it's not even close. Epic show.
If you like "Homeland" watch "24" too. It's from the same producers, and it's kinda similar, but 24 it's much more addictive IMO. And it has already finished so you don't have to wait for a new episode/season.

With all of the TV that I watch you managed to pick 7 shows that I have never watched. Based on what I know of the shows I think that either Fringe or Game of Thrones would probably be my favorite of these.

I have never seen any of these, and the only reason I've heard of any of them is that I happened to watch parts of the Emmy (?) awards recently.
Some of them might be on HBO, which we don't get.

I really liked "Homeland" a lot, but because I'm a Fantasy maniac, I voted for "Game of Thrones". A really excellent show! But at least half of the series in the poll are very very good!

Breaking Bad, Doctor Who and especially Mad Men are the top three TV series currently in production I enjoy the most. I just might add Sherlock to this list, despite it's slightly different format.
I also follow with some interest Boss, Boardwalk Empire and Once Upon a Time.
From the list I also like Homeland (brilliant first season, the second not so much thus far) and Game of Thrones. Don't care much for the others, of which I only saw their first seasons.

I don't watch any of the above, but the one I'm most intrigued with is Homeland.
