Another Xmas album.....

Horslips' 1975 album "Drive the Cold Winter Away".........this is more straight folk than anything prog. But I love it.

We used to have a Christmas in July camp that was fun as it was colder.

I can celebrate it all at once and get double the pressie!

This year my wish list of prog is extensive!

I can imagine that. The 2012 prog vintage year has been good until now Approve.

Legend pt1 by SAVIOUR MACHINE. it talks about the birth and rise of Jesus Christ. That's Christmas, but the intense way to go. Truly epic.

Another reason for me to dislike Neal Morse.
Crushed like a rose in the riverflow.

You might laugh but it actually happened on Christmas day about 5 or 6 years ago at a ski resort in New South Wales. Though I can't see it happening again in my lifetime.
How old are you expecting to live  Confused ? This is what part of Sydney looked like on Oct. 12 this year !

I must admit that I am not interested in Christmas albums at al, not even prog. While Momentum may be found somewhere on top of my list of 2012 vintage I want to hear, Neal's forthcoming Christmas album, wrapped in a cover with Sgt. Pepper-based artwork in Christmas colours, does not kindle my interest at all.

Of other Chistmas albums I know that Jethro Tull has released one, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra seems to have a preoccupation with this theme and Neal Morse released a, probably home-brew, EP some 12 years ago.

BTW, does it ever snow in Australia during Christmas time Wink?
