It's probably a very small amount of people who do that and mostly just media hype that I've seen.

Mulan is the only character in the Disney Princess franchise (even though she isn't an actual princess) who doesn't fall in love, happily ever after; instead, she saves China. f**k yea

well she get fealings for the son of the general, i would call that love, and i bet it also hints to them both living in a calm and peacefull China, but yes it is a bit out of norm and not the typical a boy/girl falls in love with a beutufull, unobtainable love interest.
more about breaking tradition then anything else, but so is Aladdin, B&B, and the Little Mermaid, revolting against tradition and parrential advicery

True, but Mulan gets more respect from me for going a step further and not even presenting a love interest (if i remember correctly)

He sang with Black Flag (California punk band) in the 80s, led his own Rollins Band through the 90s, and has also been touring as a "spoken word" act since the late 80s, just getting up in front of audiences and talking about stuff. I like the talking stuff best, and I've been following him since the 80s. Just a real interesting guy who's a good talker. Really funny too. I think this week's show will have a definite political slant, as we're coming up on election day.

That's interesting. I remember hearing about Black Flag from the early 80s. Have seen people with Black Flag T-shirts in Ottawa, actually.

I had to miss Rollins because of exams. I'm upset.
Black Flag's logo is about as cliché posse hardcore as you can get nowadays. I see so many people with it inked somewhere it isn't even funny anymore. Which is a damn shame because it's pretty much the antithesis of what the band wanted.
