Could u post a list of the best minimoog riff in your opinion from the late '70 until today.

Requirements:
Not neoprog  bands
Not riot/Avant
Not Tech/ Extreme Metal
Not Camel, Eloy, Rush, Saga (too much popular)

no like, i want a more Boombastic sound...like Neoprogressive bands, but in a different style: symphonic, RPI, phichedelic, or Kraut.

I like Fusion, Funky, and Smooth Jazz stuff, but in a pop vein...like Level 42...or Rippingtones.

This is the stuff i love: never hear a riff so power like this one!

Soooo many excellent Mini-Moog solos abound - I especially adore Rick Wakeman's sound from the YESSONGS period - but, for a sensational solo from 1980, try Alan Gowen's inspired performance on the track 'Morning Order' (from the Hugh Hopper/Alan Gowen project TWO RAINBOWS DAILY).  In fact, just listen to the album from start to finish.........

Agree with verslibre about Jan Hammer and agree again with dwill123 about Chick Corea.  You cannot go wrong with any live album by the Jan Hammer Group (circa late 1970s) and Corea's work with Return to Forever...
