Boy, was it fun copying this guy's Hackett moves today, the tapping and the sweeping.

On Preston platform do your soft shoe shuffle dance.
Brush away the cigarette ash that's falling down your pants
And then you sadly wonder does the nurse treat your old man the way she should.
She made you tea, asked for your autograph - what a laugh.

Fun proto-prog number from The Move, on their awesome "Shazam" album.. This is actually a cover of some unknown flower power band's number (called Ars Nova, no relation to the Japanese prog band... I need to look them up someday). Just such a happy, optimistic peace and love song, played by the Move with maybe a little bit of tongue in cheek. Love Carl Wayne's lead vocal on this song. I just listened to this song about 6 times in a row on my earphones while working in the yard.

^ Having a little ambient disease, eh?
Me: I was thinking Egg's "Symphony no. 2", but after a brief serious consideration I think I'll go with Colin Bluntstone's "Though You Are Far Away".

I've been thinking about choosing one between GG's "Prologue" and Renaissance's "Song of Scheherezade", ... so I chose this:

Lazarus - Porcupine Tree Getting back into these guys again after a long, long break (late February). The song is truly a work of beauty.

Yes and please help! It might be too late for my neighbourhood. The last thing I want to do is make them Popol Vuh and Eno loving freaks.
