And hi Kevin, long time.

Far too long, friend.  I hear you're a bona-fide metal dad now!  Congratulations!

Dear dozens bands,

I think it's cool that you can play those songs well, and I'm fine with a cover or two on an album, BUT I WILL NOT SPEND 5-20 BUCKS FOR AN ALBUM DOMINATED BY COVERS!

Have you seen them / are you seeing them this tour?

I saw em on the 22nd last month. My first concert. best night of my life!

That's nice Clap I'll be seeing them next June, my third Rush show and judging by the setlist it might actually be the best.

Thanks Handshake So far we've been subjecting him only to the gentlest sounds of the 70s RPI scene, but the metal comes in due time. I suggested some Baroness today, wasn't approved by the mother Tongue

How's your life been?

It's been crazy.  School and work are consuming my life, and records are consuming my income. That's about it though!  I pray you've been staying well?

That sounds like me two years ago Thumbs Up

Man, never better! I've slept way better before, though. Big smile Right now I've had the first week of my three week paternity leave, it'll be interesting to see how it's going to be when I'm back at work, taking care of our three dogs and cooking for the mother and child Shocked

The latest episodes deal with Marshall and Lily having their baby and the stuff that goes on being new parents.  I have a feeling that you might be able to relate to them.

I'm sure I will, I can imagine it's as much an adventure to them as it is to us Tongue Right now we're in the beginning of the third season. I'm quite new to the series and I've been borrowing the DVDs from my cousin, which season is running now on TV?

I'm watching the complete 1950s series The Adventures of Robin Hood -a British production with Richard Greene
I wasn't even around in the fifties, but i have developed a penchant for TV series from that era.
I'm also getting back into the original Hawaii Five 0 series, i have all 12 seasons!

Saw the results of my recent Sleep Apnea test, it looks pretty normal (I've been gaining weight, and was concerned about it's effect on the condition)
I've got some good doctors for my various medical things-i'm grateful!Thumbs Up

Talking about Rush live, i saw them in April of 1977 with the A Farewell To Kings tour-i remember it well, they played everything from that album except Cinderella Man-at the end of Cygnus X-1 was a gigantic screen with an animation of a space ship exploding-they did some earlier music from before AFTK, too
Opening band was Max Webster who started their set with "Oh War"
Man that was a heck uv a long time ago!

That would have been so cool.  First time that I saw them was in 1989 as part of the Presto tour.  I've seen them just about every tour since then though.

I enjoyed the BBC reboot of Robin Hood that they had on a few years back.  I watched every episode of all 3 seasons of that. (or Series of that).  I have also watched just about every episode of the new Hawaii Five O.  I can vaguely remember watching some episodes of the originals series way back in the day, but honestly don't really remember anything about it aside from the theme song and the "book 'em Dano".
