Other worse feels that I have felt are:

- being broke and drowning in debt
- biting into a sandwich which was older than I thought and which had spoiled (did not taste like food)
- cutting your head open on a doorway
- not being able to find your Husker Du record anywhere, even though you still have the sleeve
- dropping your keys in the dark and not being able to find them
- the death of a close friend

It's Thanksgiving today, (in Canada) and am going over to some relatives.
          I'm not that great at social gatherings, and tend to be in the mood to be alone when i am there, but at least there will be a nice meal.

The worst feeling I've felt is being around a ton on strangers. I get sweaty, nauseous, dizzy, i have trouble breathing, I get depressed and stressed, and I gt a headache, and I start hyperventilating.

It's compulsory but bearable, if completely useless. You can choose to skip it and do a thirteen month civil service duty instead, but if you really want you can get out of the military in six months, so that's what I did. As the world runs nowadays there's very little threat of having to go into action, which I'm afraid is not the case over there?
