Just says Rock band on Wiki..which is  why I ignored it hours ago./Ouch What a waste.....

From Wiki:
The group's format changed twice. In 1979, it reshaped from a semi-theatrical music and comedy troupe into a ska-influenced New Wave octet and shortened their name to Oingo Boingo.

Dead or Alive is my favorite song about zombies, but alas, not the one I have in mind. That should narrow it down to three.

I had a lot of bands to get through so didn't scroll down. Most entries say in the beginning whatn ther are. for this band it says Rock band.

I don't know if you are trying to prove something. i have already read waht you quoted from wiki. Is it me or are you calling me a liar?

Snowy, don’t do that again! You are the first one to tell others when they break the unwritten rules. I think you just did.

Ok, I have a new one. Very famous but hopefully not that easy.

What? How so?

Don't do what again? I have no clue what you mean

C'mon everybody. Let's settle down. I don't want my little game to cause fights!

Refugee, are any members of the band female?

As usual, Oingo Boingo bring misery and discord to everything they touch.

What I meant is that Snowy started to guess songs from Good for Your Soul after I had guessed the band and the album. I always quit when the song in question is that difficult. I think it’s an unwritten rule here, but maybe I’m wrong.

OK, llama, it’s not a band. There are many versions of this song, also sung by females.

But let’s be friends. Handshake

^I disagree. I have guessed several songs that I had never heard (even bands I have never heard) through deduction, and I think that's perfectly fair. I even discovered that I quite like Magazine. I think discovering new artists is part of the fun.

I didn't ever consider that an unwritten rule, but if you want it so it's fine by me.

I had put a lot of effort into this one though. I thought it was OK. My bad.

Do you like how I ascertained three facts with only one question? Pretty skillful, eh? Wink
