Before: Exporting Raymond. Oh--my--God. They were actually trying to pull off a version of Everybody Loves Raymond on Russian television.
Now: Mr. Monk - "Mr. Monk and the Really, Really Dead Guy".

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. "Actually, ... it's an optical illusion". "Hey, Aqualung!".

I just finished Doctor Who: Angels Take Manhattan. Cool episode, but damn I'm going to miss Amy and Rory.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Absolutely. I'll admit, a bit biased...I came in in season 5 so Amy was my first companion...but I thought the interplay between the three was great. Probably my favorite between the doctor and any companion from the revival series.

Wow. So Matt was your first Doctor? Tom Baker was sort of mine as his were the first stories I watched on PBS in the early 90's, but as that was after Doctor Who ended originally, Chris Eccleston's Doctor was the first one I watched as the episodes were coming out. Amy was definitely a great companion. One of my favorites from both the original and revival series. And the three of them did have a good chemistry going. Although I really liked the Tennant/Piper combo quite a bit.

Technically I saw Voyage Of The Dammed first (my first Who episode if memory serves) so Tennant gets that nod, but the first full season I saw was season 5. (I then went back and over the course of time watched the rest of the new series.) Sadly, I haven't seen any of the original series. And idk...Piper kind of annoyed me in season one for some reason that I just can't put my finger on. Though I did like in more in season 2 (which oddly I thought was the worst season of the show). But true...good chemistry there either way. It will be interesting to see how the character is with the new companion.

Spaghetti western. Sergio Leone's Once upon a time in the west.
A wonderful piece of cinema, still after all these years.
