Added to my wish list, along with The Seven Seasons, UT and Searching For A Land. How's that last one, SFAL, btw? Have you heard it?

Yeah, I've heard it a couple of times so far, but I haven't really listened to it yet. Can't say much about it, maybe that it might have been a bit jazzier than the rest. UT on the other hand has some very Sabbathian moments. Think I'll put on Searching for a Land when Grosso 1 ends Smile

Sadly, they are all retired at this point.  It isn't looking good that there is going to be a season this year.

Yeah, it doesn't look good. How close is the closest AHL team to you, or some other passable league? Or do you care about anything else than NHL?

I'm hoping Scott Hartnell could come play for KalPa at some point during the lockout. He owns a slice of the team along with the majority owner Sami Kapanen and Kimmo Timonen who owns a good chunk as well.

And whoa, big posting milestone coming up Thumbs Up

Alfio Vitanza, drummer for Latte e Miele, joined New Trolls quite a while agoThumbs Up A remember hearing Searching For A New Land years ago on lp-a two lp set, one studio and one live disc, if i remember correctly. The live record had a great song called "Bright Lights" i think-it's a pretty good set.

I used to go and see the Detroit Vipers play just about every game when they were in the International Hockey League, but they went out of business over 10 years ago.  After that, I went to go see the Motor City Mechanix play.  They were in a lower league, but during the last lockout Derrian Hatcher and Chris Chelios played for them.  They were only around for a couple of years.  I also used to go see the Flint Generals play in the United Hockey League. They are about an hour north of me.  But they went defunct 2 or 3 years ago.  Really the only thing close to me now is the Plymouth Whalers, and they are a junior hockey team, and they are about a 45 minute to hour drive away.  I used to watch them play every so often when they played at Joe Louis Arena and I saw them play at the Palace as part of a doubleheader with the Detroit Vipers many years ago, but alas, I've not seen them play in over 10 years either.  It is looking like a winter with no hockey. Cry

Well Scott, I hear the KHL is being televised somewhere in North America, maybe it'll hit your market too Wink But I feel your pain, I'm much more into NHL than our own league.

Nah, that's just a team he was a hired gun for for a while, but KalPa is his own teamWink

And happy to help on the RPI question Smile

And if I should wake up and find my home's in half ?
Who did it? Oh nature, I hope you have a laugh
And if I should wake up and find my bed has moved
Twelve inches, twelve closer to my god
