Two rare albums with short songs, bad sound and unfinished compositions. But I can't help. I like them.
Like Jim said earlier in the Den Book : I RECOMMEND IT BUT IT'S NOT RECOMMENDED |

While cooking tonight's dinner one needs some "dinner cooking" music.......this was tonight's cooking music as inspired by the Duck.

A useless random fact - I have that remote at work. Once it went missing for some weeks, and it was the only damn one to work a particular model of DVD player. It sucked, but luckily, just before buying a new one ($90 I think they were going to charge me) I discovered it in the guts of an old desk. Odd |

I can't stand the guitars. It's a shame because I love everything else;

Absolutly. I have the same feeling for many new and excellent RPI bands. Believe me I am the first to suffer.

Actually I know what you mean, I personally hardly ever get into new RPI bands. Something's missing, but this is just me I guess.

I am listening to PFM's boxset 35...e un minuto. This really is some good stuff musically. I still have a hard time with the Italians lyrics though. Listening to a non-English language is just weird to me. Just listened to the song K.N.A. and was hearing some Rush-like riffing going on in there. Good stuff. |

Have a glass of Chianti on PFM and you will have the impression to understand everything.

Was Peter Hammill singing on The Sea Of Memories? I was thinking that the voice sounded familiar and I see that he is listed as a guess on the boxset. That was a really good song. So is the next instrumental La Terra Dell'Acqua. This is some great stuff.

Did you try the english version? Not a lot of people prefer it though. |

I can't stop listening to this stuff, over and over and over! I actually do not want to hear an english version, I want the beauty of it just the way it is.
And as afore mentioned, a glass of Chianti does some very nice interpretations for me...

"L'isola Di Niente" is completly different from "Per un amico" but fantastic. L'uomo di Pezza is a masterpiece, Felona e Sorona and Contrappunti too.
