The Big Bang Theory - "The Date Night Variable", the season 6 opener.

Gonna see the season 2 opener of Person of Interest in 30 min. So excited. Tongue

Two and a Half Men - "I Changed My Mind About the Milk".

 - Michael Bolton! I have a vibrator named after you!

One of the worst, if not the worst, lines from a sitcom ever.

^ it's good, can't beat Nolan-- Last Resort not so much, unfortunately.   We'll see if Elementary is any good.

thoroughly enjoyed Elementary, looks to be the best new show of the season.   Nice to see Holmes as the troubled addict he was, and an interesting Holmes/Watson dynamic, even some Elvis Costello at the end.

^ E. Costello? I must have missed the ending. I enjoyed the pilot, even if it wasn't all that fresh. And the concept of having the namesakes and the likes of the detective legends in the modern day, ... it's just weird. But J. L. Miller really had some juices flowing in that episode, being all dynamic. Nonetheless, I will expect more in the following episodes.

I used to love reading Sherlock Holmes stories.  I haven't seen the Robert Downey Jr movies yet, and I can't bring myself to watch Elementary.  It looks like it could be a good show, but being based in New York and a female Dr. Watson just ruin the idea of watching it for me.

Although one of my favorite shows, I stopped watching when Charlie was fired.  Not even really interested in the newer shows.  All I've seen is the clip from Charlie's funeral.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

I read a lot of Doyle when I was young as well, but sometimes Jeremy Brett and Basil Rathbone get a bit tedious.   At least J.L. Miller is English and doesn't play the dandy, athletic Holmes Downey does.   The show reminds me a bit of House.
