Quand Pierre est parti pour la guerre,
Sept ans y est resté,
Sept ans y est resté.
L'a laissé sa mie à Grenoble
S'mourant de regrets.
La première lettre qu'a reçue Pierre,
L'était pleine de fleurs,
L'était pleine de fleurs.
La deuxième lettre qu'a reçue Pierre
L'était pleine de pleurs,
L'était pleine de pleurs.
S'en fut trouver son capitaine :
Donne-moi mon congé,
Donne-moi mon congé.
Pour aller voir ma mie à Grenoble
Qui s'meurt de regrets,
Qui s'meurt de regrets...

Ma chanson est dite,
Ma langue en est quitte.
Mes sabots sont d'bois,
Ma langue n'y est pas.
Au bout du village,
il n'y a pas d'maison.
Ceux qu'en savent plus large,
qu'ils en disent plus long.

There's nothing going on in my head except the annoying whirr of my computer's internal fan going bananas. It's just dominating my day and I want it to end. A new part will be put in on Monday or Tuesday, but until then I just have to deal with it. Ironic that it should bother me, considering that I like listening to avant-noise music.
