Topic: Your favourite things Posted: September 27 2012 at 09:27 |
We all have various favourites - favourite bands, favourite people, favourite this & that & the other.
But which of your own favourite things is your most favourite?
For me, for example, I don't think my favourite band beats my favourite friend. But it beats all the rest of my favourites.

My favourite friend/relative is my wife, my daughter is second. Nothing else stands any chance of getting even remotely close.

You love your wife more than your daughter? I hope she doesn't read this board (who am I kidding, she's a woman, of course she doesn't. )

Well, I know my parents love each other more than they love me, with me and my bro in second place. I'm fine with that.

This is an odd poll. I have to wonder what kind of person prefers their favorite food to their favorite relative.
"Either we chuck your mother off a bridge, or you can never have veal again!" "Gotta go with the veal. Sorry, mom."

Ew, Veal. That stuff is terrible. I mean, I'm sure it tastes good, and sure, how we make meat is also bad, but the way we make Veal is terrible.

With friends and relatives in the Poll, how sad if they dont get every vote.
I wouldent want to live another second without all my friends and relatives. No matter how much good music, great books. ect.

Your wife is the only relative you get to pick, the rest you get no say in the matter; while my genes are okay, my taste is better.

this is true.
If you can't eat veal because of how it is raised, then don't drink milk - the two are interrelated, if the cows don't calve then they don't produce milk, if we don't remove the calves from the mothers we can't take their milk. No veal = no milk, no cheese, no butter, no yogurt, no ice cream.

Some countries it is bad, others it is good. Depends. In the Uk calves are well looked after.

It's not too impossible, especially with the "favorite drink" option. Taking the thread down the sad route, one can say there are multiple people who sadly choose their favorite drinks over their favorite relatives
Now, on a happy note, I also select favorite relative/person. My girl, my parents, my sister. They are my favorites. And then Bach . Oh, my cats rank above him.

I would pick my mother if she were alive, but she is not, and i don't believe in life after death at all, so instead of that choice, i am going with my favorite band, as i am not that crazy about my other existing relatives and friends. (I know that may sound mean, but i am just being honest, and you would understand if you had all the facts) Triumvirat beats them out any day of the week!

Peace of mind is the mother of all happiness. I'll vote for that.
I guess "other", then.
