Of the artists listed under "#" these four are probably the most well known. They are from four different sub-genres (Crossover, RIO/Avant, Post/Math and Electronic, respectively). Vote, dammit.

5uus, which coincidentally I have five rarely uused these days albums of, is the only only one of these I have albums by, so I won't vote. My favourite 5uus albums are regarding Regarding Purgatories and Abandonship. I do like what I heard of 6LA8.

I see what you did there. Ha! I'd love to vote, but can't. I'm starting to wonder if I can really call myself a 5uu's fan because I never listen to them anymore. Pretty soon I'm going to have my RIO card taken away. Thank goodness I still get a lot of mileage out of my Fred Frith albums.

Sounds like we're in much the same boat, Abandonship! I still get a lot of mileage out of Art Zoyd.

I never heard 35007 or The 3rd and the Mortal before so I didn't include them. Just out if curiosity, what do those two sound like?
I voted for 5uu's.

35007 sounds a lot like Pelican to me. Powerful, spacey guitar-based instrumentals.

I voted for 5uu's. |
They started out as a pioneering female fronted goth metal band with prog leanings on the early EP's and 1st album but their sound changed and became more experimental as they went on.
