Tough times demand, tough talk demand
Tough hearts demand tough songs
Tough times demand, tough talk demand
Tough hearts demand, tough songs demand

We can rise and fall like empires
Flow in and out like the tide
Be vain and smart, humble and dumb
We can hit and miss like pride, just like pride

They say there are strangers who threaten us
In our immigrants and infidels
They say there is strangeness too dangerous
In our theaters and bookstore shelves
That those who know what's best for us
Must rise and save us from ourselves

That sounded pretty good.  Is Matt Cameron on drums or did they get someone else?

I think that he is still there.  If I recall I read somewhere that a band that he was playing live in had to replace him because of his Soundgarden commitments.  I don't recall the details though.

Matt was Pearl Jam's drummer too, wasn't he?

Yep.  I think he joined up with them shortly after Soundgarden disbanded.

Maybe it was Pearl Jam, but for some reason I thought the article had mentioned a different band.

Speaking about Matt Cameron, Is it just me or anyone of you think Soundgarden's Superunknown had one of the best drum sound in the 90's?

Too bad.  I think that all you need is a flannel shirt, two days facial growth, and unwashed hair.

Come to think of it, it did have a good drum sound.  But more importantly it's probably one of the best albums of the 90s, period.  It's pretty scary how good it is.

Yeah...prog or no prog, it should be on the archives only so that we could praise it.  LOL
