Even a simple Beatles song is surprisingly hard to cover.  It's the little details that make the songs what they are, and there's often little tricky thingamabobs all over the place.  I'm thinking of "I've Got a Feeling" here (from the Let it Be album).  My band spent a long time yesterday trying to master it.  And it's not enough that I have to play twiddly guitar parts, I have to sing Paul McCartney's part too, and he's like a good singer too.

Just listening to yesterday's rehearsal tape and that occurred to me.

Yea The Beatles have some pretty impressive tricks and elusive instrumentation.

At the moment i'm trying to learn the entire Abbey Road album on drums in order.
My favorite parts are Bathroom Window through The End.

I can't due to reasons

Also I've been doing pretty fine in the Brazilian server. I also tried Mundo a few times this week and loved 'im. There's a "buy 2 rune pages for the price of 1" sale which I'll be taking advantage of soon.

It is actually.

It's unfortunate how AWFUL the lyrics to Octopus' Garen are - seeing it's has some of the band's best playing.

indeed.

I have some school friends on the BR server though. I still have an account on the NA server but I'm afraid I won't be playing games for some while. Classes are back again, all the teachers from all Brazilian public universities ended their 4-month long (!!!) work strike today so yay :I
