Yes. After i listen to albums/song on my ipod, i sync it up to my computer it'll have a window pop up saying what you listened to. Then you just "Scrobble".
That's very cool.  I might look into this.

Yes.  When I plug the iPod back into my computer it updates iTunes, and then from there it scrobbles the plays to Last.FM.  It is kind of quirky though.  It doesn't work all of the time for me, and it seems to take about 10 minutes or so to scrobble on my computer.  Not sure if it is because of virus protection or if it is just a slow computer or if it just takes that long because there is so much music saved in my iTunes and it has to go through all of the songs to see which ones were played.

When you first set it up, it is able to take all of your plays that have been recorded in iTunes prior to the setup and bring them into Last.FM too, so you can get some historical plays too.

How long does yours take to come up with the list of what you listened to?

What's so great about the site is the band archives and recommendation features. Something that PA needs.
Works really well imo.

Under 5 minutes. I've never noticed delays or anything like that.

It really bothers me that mine takes so much longer, but I haven't been able to find any ways to speed it up.

Could it have to do with the size of your music libraries?  I imagine both of you have fairly large libraries though.

I think that that is part of it.  I think part of it is the virus protection.  My laptop is only a couple of years old and it has always taken at least this long to scrobble for me.

I used to love Queen.  I might be up for checking out that film, though Freddie's extreme showmanship actually gets on my nerves a bit.  (example: "YEAAHHH!" (crowd: "Yeeaaah!") "YEAAAHHHHEEOEOOEOEOAAWWWW" (crowd: "Yeeeaahahhheowwooweeowwww"), and so on for 5 minutes.)

I really think I need to not hear Bohemian Rhapsody again for about 10 years.  I think it's far more overplayed than Free Bird and Stairway to Heaven put together.  Mainly because people stopped playing Free Bird and Stairway to Heaven because everyone said they were overplayed.  Ironic, eh?

That annoys me too, although I do like his voice.

Not sure if this would have much interest here, but they are doing a tribute to Deep Purple's Machine Head, and Metallica does a pretty good cover of one of the B side songs.

I like Queen enough to have their Greatest hits, but that's about it
