Hello everybody Smile! I wanted to compare this two kickass heroes of seventies B-movie parodies, before who anyone would bow Tongue.
The first film dates from 2009 and is directed by Scott Sanders. It's an homage to the
blaxploitation. Black Dynamite (played by Michael Jai White) is the most funky and also the most 70's, I think.
The other one dates from 2010 and is dircected by Robert Rodriguez. Machete (played by Dany Trejo) is the most badass -of all time-, more in the line of Rodriguez/Tarantino's double feature so maybe more an action B-movie. But the two are as much as grindhouse!
No without difficulties, I choose Black Dynamite which is incredibly successful (doesn't
mean famous). I think that any fan of the 70's would love this film so I reccomend it
highly to the members of this site!
If you don't know this movies, there's a fortaste Wink:

I really didn't like Machete, and I would need to have seen Black Dynamite in order to judge it. So for now.. no vote.

How can you not love a guy who swings out of a window on a bad guy's intestines?
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Machete could be better... but the scene with the gut-rope is classic! And no one released Black Dynamite in Brazil yet!Cry
