No vote. It is too hard to make a choice. I am fond of chocolate and Ernie (my cat, 3/4 Siamese) is one of the friendliest creatures I know.
Those cat-shaped chocolates in Tapfret's post are a no-op anyway.
I think I would vote for a chocolate point Siamese.

I like them both, but I do have chocolate in my house and no cats. Probably I find it more important to have chocolate in my house than cats

This is not my cat, just a pic of a chocolate point that I took from the internet. This is a picture of my cat, taken when he was just four or five months old. The colour of his eyes has become a bit lighter, more like his hair. Siamese cats have blue eyes, but Ernie is a hybrid (probably 3/4 Siamese).

If you mean the PF song, then it's a tough call Next I think we should do a survivor poll with cats, dogs, chocolate, cocoa, Coca-Cola, Christmas, credit cards, candles and Croatia.

I can't eat cats, nor can I pet chocolate so this is silly to compare!
Thus my fallback vote: Robert Fripp

Cats rule. Here's mine looking almost like a predator of the wild. But its just our apple tree out in the garden, and he's mostly a homey and cuddly kind of cat.

My girlfriend and I, as well as a friend of ours, have been having a long and rather ugly battle with our landlord, whom we have affectionately dubbed "the wicked witch of the west" (as in "I'll get you my pretty and your little cat too"), over some homeless cats that live on one of her properties. The three of us feed the cats regularly. How can you look at a little face meowing at you for food and not respond with compassion and of course food? She told us she didn't want us to feed them because then they would breed out of control. We agreed that it could be a problem and in the cats' best interests, we got them all fixed. There will be no more kittens from this colony of cats (who number 12). Problem solved. Or so we thought. After the three of us went through the time, trouble and energy it took to get all of them fixed (the Humane Society here does it for free, so it didn't cost us any money), she along with a couple of her tenants decided they still didn't like the cats because they leave pawprints on cars (Boo freaking hoo!) She wants them gone. She kicked our friend out of his apartment for continuing to feed the cats in spite of her demanding that he be mean to the cats and deny them. When he still didn't stop feeding the cats, she called the police on him and tried to have him arrested for it (feeding cats is not illegal here, and since he didn't do it on her property-but rather on the street in front of her property-they couldn't arrest him). She also once called the cops on me for arguing with her about the cats. Again, the police did nothing. She threatened to poison them, until I informed her that poisoning stray cats is a felony and I would see her go to jail if she did any such thing. She has also threatened to have someone trap them and move them to the woods. While not illegal, it is cruel. I find placing something as silly as pawprints on cars above the well-being of these animals to be sociopathic, especially since her opinion is "they're feral cats, they're not supposed to live easy lives. they're supposed to be hungry and die young." Her exact words. They aren't feral in the true meaning of the word, simply homeless. And even if they were completely feral, that's no reason to be mean to them or to force others to be mean to them. We still feed them, we give them attention and we would adopt some of them if we already didn't have four of our own.
This is just one more reason I believe evil people should not be allowed to own property. I wish someone would trap her and drop her off in the woods to fend for herself. That would be justice.
So, without a doubt, cats. Cool animals threatened by mean, heartless people when they live out on the streets.

Thank you sir. I should also mention that all four of our cats are rescued cats. Two come from the colony of which I wrote and two more were from a litter of four kittens born to a colony a few blocks away. We found homes for two of the kittens and kept two ourselves.
