thanks, we first learned of it a few months after my other grandmother had died, and I thought we might lose both within a year. I still have until the end of October to be proved wrong, though.

Both of my grandfathers died during my senior year in high school.  That was a pretty rough year for me.

My only deceased grandparent died before I was born. I dread the day when my grandparents pass on. They're all really sweet people.

My uncle died in 2009 from a 3 year battle with bone marrow cancer, I was quite upset. He was 45.

Yet, when my grandfather died suddenly from a brain aneurism in 2003 at the age of 69, I was sad for sure, but not quite upset; I didn't even shed a tear at the wake or funeral. I was 15 at the time, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I remember being quite made when I found out the news though.

Cancer is a bitch, a somewhat distant cousin of mine died of it in 2007.

They have the cure, just like they do for AIDS, but there's too much money to be made in the treatment.

I had a really weird dream. My family were at this store, kinda like office max, but there were these cats all over the place, and two of the cats were our cats, TJ and Shadow, so I got both of them and but them in the back of our car and went back in. Then we went to a relative's house, but then we went back to the store, and my dad met Jimmy Page there, and he went under the store and got a dead pidgon and then played a backwards guitar solo

I don't know that they have the cure or not.  They are certainly more successful with the treatments of some forms of cancer than they are with others.  Sadly it seems that the treatment is sometimes worse than the actual disease.

It is really sad though in our greedy society that there is a probability that they have discovered cures for these diseases but choose not to reveal them or offer them because it would eliminate their profits from the treatments that are currently offered or provided.

I know from my medical billing experience that radiation oncologists make an obscene amount of money for fairly routine work.

Just went on a multi-county spending spree buying way too much music but I couldn't help myself.

Had a great dinner out and saw the Bourne Legacy with the wife.  A fine night.

Tomorrow it's back to vacuum cleaners and lawnmowers.

I think we may do Bandcamp once we have enough group originals recorded.  One of our guys already has his own page for his solo recordings.  He was the first guy I ever knew on Bandcamp actually.  It's really taken off since then (Bandcamp that is).
