Hailing from France, The Great Old Ones set out to describe musically both the feeling contained in H.P. Lovecraft’s writings and their interest for extreme music. Their debut album Al Azif, recorded by Cyrille Gachet (Year Of No Light) and mastered by Alan Douches (Tombs, Mastodon, The Dillinger Escape Plan…), is 52 minutes of intense, dark and atmospheric music.
