this song have a very rappid bass-kick drum pattern in the verse, and i wonder is this a drum machine or is it a really insane preformance by Jeff Porcaro,, i have always bugged me what it is, and i haven't really finded it out

I think the bass drum and snare is recorded and looped. So he plays three bars (one round). The hihat is recorded on top and isn't looped.
 
He can definitely pull off those three bars. But not continuosly like that, with the independent hi-hat playing.

I'm not sure if it's looped Wilmon. Though i'm not familiar with Jeff's kit or ability. I can see this easily done with a double bass but i'm not sure if he used one or not.
