This is interesting, especially the last two.Shocked

I honestly can't tell if he's joking or if he's being serious. LOL

If you would like some context to determine my approach towards making these lists, check out the ones I made on the first few pages.

I like making these, so...

Mikael Akerfeldt - growling
Geddy Lee - screaming
Maynard James Keenan - yelling
Chuck Schuldiner - screeching

They would be a metal barbershop quartet.

¿Wouldn't you like Roger Waters on the Screaming Department? His part on "Careful with that Axe, Eugene" was more than stellar.

LOL Wow, that would be something! I could totally see the boys doing an a capella soundtrack to the next Saw movie. Wink Geddy's shriek; the only thing that keeps me up at night.

"Freeze" from Vapor Trails should be on a horror soundtrack; Geddy's vocals during the bridge are spine-chilling.

LOL Oh yeah, maybe a little bit of Cygnus X-1 in there as well, yeah you know the part I'm talking about Wink. How about 2012 Ged signing that to a live audience? Every nerve would be torn apart. Stern Smile

It would actually be interesting to hear Cygnus played live this tour; it's my guess that if they chose to play that song, they would have some changes to make, since it's not exactly the most mature composition they ever wrote.  I'd like to see their take on it, even if they had to tune down two whole steps (that would make the highest note an F#, which Geddy could probably hit).

Yeah, considering they haven't played the piece in like, god knows how long. There's a couple of bootlegs clips on youtube from the late early 00's, I think? But really poor quality, not even worth it. But you got to give to Ged though. You know, after all these years he's still singing with so much passion and shredding that bass - they're playing better now, they've ever been. It's only natural that his voice would deteriorate at some point. The song itself though, what's your thoughts on it?

The trio which I wish would've been (they did jam tgether in '76-'77):
John Wetton
Rick Wakeman
Bill Bruford

The only material I know of to come out of this was Bruford's "Beezebub"

I like the song but I think it was a bit of a misfire for Rush, being as harmonically simple and repetitive as it was, and seeming pointless apart from the sequel on the next album.  Honestly, I think it would have been a great song if it was a couple of minutes shorter; I think they really overextended the intro a lot.  As it is, it's still good but as far as Rush epics go I think it's one of their weaker ones.

Ominous, Airy, Dark, Metal. Almost sludgy? The harmonies of Chelsea and Chris would be insane.
