I probably need more explanations maybe I don't understand this Norwegian legal figure properly.

Either give him 100 years or 20 but give a convicted felon a clear sentence.
Few countries have that, and certainly not the USA. Charles Manson's death sentence was commuted to a life sentence. In the USA that is a sentence of indeterminate length with a minimum of 15 years. It is unlikely he will ever leave prision.

RIP, truly.

I hope we can honor his memory by not abandoning space, but by pushing to go further than we had ever thought possible.

I'm sure if you actually happen to be invading cockroaches' country, to use your words, cockroaches will keep on coming back and will have all the damn right to do so. The ones that shouldn't be there aren't the cockroaches.

That's not saying I love cockroaches but that is the reason for their resilience.

We probably kill more civilians with those bombs than those cockroaches do.

Unless of course that means leaving islands of junk and waste in our path.

Meh. We should be careful about leaving it in orbit around the earth or moon maybe, but as long as we chuck it into deep space, no big deal.

Well at least we don't do it intentionally. the Taliban is living in the dark ages. That area of the world will never be stable. How do you fight an enemy that uses their  life as a weapon.

Then how many civilians are you okay with justifying murdering before it goes beyond "collateral damage"?
