I'm 28 and this thread makes me feel old. Always thought I was on the younger end of the prog appreciation spectrum. Good to see there is some new blood appreciating good music though!

I don't think that's the biggest problem with this thread, actually.

Don't mean to bump this argument again but dtguitarfan needs to realize that a ton of pop music doesn't make money.

And three rights make a left, as I learned while trying to find the entrance of Meremac Community College the other day Confused.

I am 14 and greatly enjoy classic prog, have never gotten into any modern stuff too much. My dad got me in to prog with rush and a little yes (and some later genesis stuff which I dislike now, but helped me find their earlier stuff) , now I'm into Genesis, Jethro Tull, ELP , some King Crimson, and a little gentle giant and camel now.
I have a few friends into dream theater and a few are familiar with a little bit of rush, that's about it. Certainly my favorite genre, never really listened to music a lot until I discovered prog... Funny how I discovered this forum, but that's another story...

Isn't there some threshold of replies where threads stop working when they get that high?  Evil Smile
