There's a flaw in your logic. If you're only allowed to vote for bands you've heard, than someone can add a super obscure band they like and single handedly add it to the hall of fame and no one will be able to stop them (like I did with Penguin Cafe Orchestra.)

Better that than downvoting (or even up-voting) without knowing what a band sounds like. You could go and listen to the band on youtube as well.

Oh, also Sheavy. Re: the discrepancy, Dean was right a long time ago when he suggested you forgot to add a band to the HoS. It was Frank Zappa. That means that we are only 3 points off instead of 17.
