Olympics.Congrats to Ryan Lochte(USA)for winning gold in the Mens Individual 400m medley.

I'm really rooting for Lochte this year.Being a born and bred Baltimore resident, you'd think I'd root for Phelps, who is worshipped around here. He's a great athelete but after the 8 golds in Bejing he's coasted, and he's admitted that.Too concerned with endorsement deals and taking bong hits instead of practicing, while Lochte has trained relentlessly and dominated in competitions.Right now I think he's the better of the two,and think he will win a few more individual golds.

Great race.  The men's archery (team) final was great too, down to the wire.  USA fell behind early on but never let up the pressure and Italy needed a 10 on the last shot to win.   On the other hand, I thought gymnastics was quite appalling this time...almost nobody seemed to land perfectly in high bar and parallel bars.

The archery team final was indeed great. I guess I havne't watched enough to know these things but I thought the USA had a chance when the Italians had to score a 10 to win.

"Hang'em High". Quite a "positive" one after watching the sad "Fast Food Nation".
