Favorite 80's Mainstream Comedy Actor?

 

This poll is a homage to those films, and the actors who played them. You won't find some other 80's great comediants such as Woody Allen, or any of the Python's because, as the title of the poll indicates, and I don't mean to sound demeaning, I'm talking about a different kind of humour. More simple, sometimes idiotic. So I figured out Allen or the Python's wouldn't fit in this description. I see them more as an acquired taste. Humour not for the masses.

I don't know. You can say he was old, with a well established career and beyond good and evil, but he did participate in a couple of those dreadful Scary Movie spin offs (Stan Helsing, An American Carol)

You were the first one to make a judgement on Nielsen's whole filmography. I was just giving my response to that part. If your comment was meant to be taken as "never in the 80's"...well, my bad, then.

 

 

Yeah, I agree. Even in Honey I Shrunk the Kids - but something like the above, fantastic

 

Every movie I've seen him in, he just did a fantastic job! he does a great job of portraying the characters to thier fullest potential
