Hey guys, long time member Elder08 here. Just wondering if there's a metronome in which, I can actually go through and make separate tracks. Like click track would apply to certain songs only. I'm in a Math rock/ Math core band and we change signatures and tempo a lot so I just need a program in which I can do that.

You can create multiple click tracks and automate their Volumes to be on/off in Pro Tools, or to kick them in at different times with different sounds during different sections of the song. Might be much more difficult live, if that's what you're asking about.

Reaper might be good for that. It's easier to use, less buggy than Pro Tools and it's free :)

In logic you can change the tempo and signature for each bar. So you mould make your own customized click track. Perhaps other DAWs can do this as well.

You can borrow my five year old, just wait til she wants your attention:
"Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy Daddy" It's rather rhythmic.

I use an iPhone app called "Metronome". It allows you to configure tempo, time signature, and beat accents. It also lets you save songs as presets for later use. The app is free, but I upgraded to the pro version which has more visual options, like flashing on each beat.
