Well, I'm actually referring to the album Larks' Tongues In Aspic.

Just finished "Vena Sera" by Chevelle and it sounded so good that I put on "Sci-Fi Crimes".

That's a given with UM. I couldn't give that album a really flattering review. I've got Mantis and most on the way back to Local Band, not to mention all their DVDs. They are a band best appreciated live.

"Dead Pigeon Suite" from CAN's Lost Tapes Box set. One of the finer pieces on the set, I think.

Pretty much what I expected - low key and lovely. I couldn't really catch a lot of what went on in my first listen, but I think I'm going to like this one just fine.

He's pretty nuts. I think he pretty much knew what he was doing though, from a singing perspective. And he at least had the presence of mind to leave the band when it was starting to drive him into paranoid mania (doctor's orders?). I always wondered what the details behind that were. I guess it's not my business anyway.
