I must admit, this was my least favourite Can album of the ones I own, along with Delay 1968, but it has grown on me immensely. I wouldn't say it's my favourite now, 'cause, honestly, I can't choose between them, but it's up there, along with Tago Mago, Ege and Future Days, as one of my favourites. Utterly brilliant!

In 1972, Robert Fripp reformed King Crimson, this time
consisting of himself, John wetton, Bill Bruford, David Cross,
and Jamie Muir. They then made thier first album together, "Larks'
Tounges in Aspic", named after the epic piece that was started on
this album. King Crimson had a very new sound. More avant, more
jazzy, and a little harder. The title tracks are very good and
inventive, however, the other pieces just don't capture my
attention. Anyway, 3/5

I hadn't heard a Mooney record until now save for some of the stuff on The Lost Tapes but he sounds remarkably like Suzuki. LOL

For me:

Played this one earlier today and now playing it again:

An excellent album. One of Hackett's best IMHO.
