Pretty epic poppy post-rock and at points mathy. It's Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, I think Matt likes it too. It's from Japan so it has to be good. Tongue

I'd consider it shoegaze/post-rock personally. They're pretty great.

I'm getting a buffer overrun error though >_>

I just realized how overprotective of Dylan I am.

What I got out of that motW review was "It's an absolutely stunning album innovatively but it scared me so one star."

Pretty much. Opinions of the album aside it's a bad review.

Amnesia is apparently one of the scariest games ever, and it's mostly pyschological so i'm kind of pissed that i can't play it. I'm trying to reinstall it.

Dear Esther is literally walking around a gorgeous island while a man reads to you. That's it.

Amnesia is kind of scary but I've put a couple hours into it and got bored. I mean, it did have a couple really scary moments, but I wouldn't say it's the scariest game I've ever played.

Matt, I'm going to do that Reddit thing you suggested I do later today. Any tips?

I'm not quite sure how the gaming subreddits work, but if there is a specific one for posting your own work I'd make a self post there, so that you can link the fundraiser and advertise previous games you've worked on, perhaps having some completed work to show/play would be influential.

Also link us so we can give upvotes :P

thanks for the tips - and will do. I just did a quick search and can't find one for developers, but I found one for iOS gaming and there are other developers posting there so I am probably good.

Yes it was, 4.99. Then i got Penumbra: Gold Series, 2-in-1 horror game made by the same company for 2.49 or whatever.

So i spent 7.50 on 3 games. Cool

Amnesia's back to 10 dollars. Ouch

Maybe I'll just buy Penumbra.

Well that was a good deal still, got both Penumbra's, Dear Esther and Amnesia for 16 dollars. That's fine with me.

Penumbra is made by the same company and i've been able to play it. It's good. I got the 2 for 1 deal for it, but i got parts 2 and 3, i'm pretty sure i didn't miss much of the Overture, but i thought the deal was just as good. Apparently people do the same thing all the time - treat Black Plague as the first.

You can get the dual pack or Overture for 2.49 or do the smart thing and get all 3 for $5. :D

There are 3 Penumbra games, and also, you should have waited anyways Tanner since they'll all be 75% off again at some point. You could have saved like 5 whole dollars!
