Picked this up the other day at the record store....never really liked my cassette copy, and the vinyl also confirms for me my dislike of this album......I don't even like it from a general pop rock performance Unhappy

^ Picked it up Friday at record store.....slowly replacing a bunch of vinyl that was lost in several moves. This one had a bit of a smokey scent to it....Gave it a good wipe and all is good now.

Side 2 is excellent for sure!

Inspirational for this Los Angeles guitarist...
Woody Guthrie's 100th anniversary of his birth.
American singer-songwriter and folk musician whose musical legacy that wrote hundreds of political, traditional and children's songs, ballads and improvised works.

"This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me."

I thought the land was made for native indians about 10.000 years ago, and then stoles by a bunch of european outcasts, but that may be another land all together. LOL

This has got to be heard in Mono as originally intended and as Lennon always recommended. It sounds so much better!
