I haven't seen Return of the Pink Panther yet, and as it's the only one which could probably best Young Frankenstein for me I'll refrain from voting until I have.
Pink Panther Strikes Again also very good (some prefer it). Watching Kingpin tonight, haven't seen it in years.
I think my favorite so far of the Panther series is A Shot in the Dark, and my favorite Sellers is probably...The Party. The opening scene alone has me rolling on the ground every time.
the detonator scene? yeah, quintessential '60s film

That, but most specifically, his praise-worthy efforts to continue playing his horn for such a long time.

Tropic Thunder - Really funny, actually, except for Tom Cruise's absolutely awful acting.
yeah he really overdid it, they could've cast someone much better
Really? I thought Cruise was the only funny thing about the movie.
Yeah, but you also bought into Herman Cain . Tom Cruise has never been good at his job. Terrible actor in general.

Blues Brothers which is just a masterpiece of cinema, comedy or not.
this is the truth
One of my favorite movies
Some other absurd classics:
Guest House Paradiso (absolutely hilarious!!)
Hot Shots I & II
Top Secret!
UHF
Up In Smoke (Cheech and Chong)
Jane Austen's Mafia
Baseketball
High School High
Spy Hard
Super Troopers
Loaded Weapon 1
Ace Ventura (both)
Big Lebowski
Braindead - assuming this is Dead Alive
MASH
Shaun of the Dead
I knew there were a bunch of films I forgot, those are a few. Also, this reminded me: I left out Hot Fuzz, which I actually put ahead of Shaun of the Dead.
Monty Python followed by Spinal Tap. A personal favourite of mine is Grandma's Boy. I'll never forget the first time I watched that one. Also, The Big Lebowski should be on here.

my other favorite Woody Allen's must be mentioned as they are so friggin good. Not all his films are made equal and he definitely had a bad period between about '95 and '03, but below are him at his peak as a writer/filmographer and absolute must-sees for any Allen fan; A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy
Zelig Broadway Danny Rose Hanna and Her Sisters Radio Days Crimes and Misdemeanors Husbands and Wives

If it had been The Life of Brian, I would have voted for that as I think it is the best Python film and is better than all the others here. I think that both YF and Spinal Tap are better so I go for Spinal Tap but by a short whisker and I will change my mind again tomorrow
