Febus  was also genuine lovely guy  who loved his music  and cool guy to talk to  he was well liked around these parts and a genuine inspiration to those who got to know him and how he handled his illness right  up to when he died

I never met the guy, but he sounds like a legend. RIP, man.

For me:

Post-rock with a more metal tinge to it. Very emotional stuff.

Post rock + metal...reminds me of Russian Circles, are PRSQ anything like that?  I'm going to have to give their music a try.

What does Febus mean?  I've seen that word mentioned a bit lately.

Febus was a great reviewer and contributor to the site, who sadly passed on a little while back. I believe he started the original 'listening' thread, and so we continue to remember him with the appropriate title.
That's very nice.  My hat's off to him.
He didn't start it, but he was a frequent contributors who made many comments about what you or he was listening to.  I had some very nice conversations with him in this thread.  In his honor, all of the thread titles since then have included a reference to him.  Hopefully, this thread title gets updated too.

Antoine was his real name. A Frenchman by origin, living in the US. He lost his battle with cancer at the beginning of December 2008. Quite a long while ago... But I will never forget him...
