Indeed, I was one of the people who evaluated them, though their music is good I didn't think it was very proggy.

I really haven't, I'm usually disappointed by noise rock because they lack the noise part, so I'm usually not eager to look into them.

I've never thought bands like Lightning Bolt, Melt-Banana etc.. noise rock, because they have way more in common with Math Rock.

I've listened to some Lightning Bolt.  Quite an unholy racket they conjure up.  It was a bit much for me.  I like Melt Banana a lot though, because I love the singer, and how she locks in with the band's impossible rhythms.
