Best store I've ever been to.  I went to San Fran for a conference a couple of years ago and can't wait to go back.

It's a 2 CD live performance from a 2010 show.   Incidentally, I'm considering going to a Jandek performance in a month or so, in Athens.

Got into a good discussion with another customer who knew all the prog stuff too.  And then over the store speakers I suddenly hear Sun City Girls' "Torch of the Mystics", an album I've heard but have been looking to buy on CD.  I asked the clerk if it was for sale, but alas, it was his copy he brought from home.  My kind of place.  It was called AKA Music.

That would be cool. I can't imagine me ever seeing him though.

He didn't even perform live for the first 25 years of his career.  Now, the few live performances he plays are all new "spontaneous compositions", with little prior planning, and usually get released as a CD.

Man, I wish I could go to a Jandek concert. It'd probably be so awkward. LOL

Listened to Ready for the House not too long ago, great record.

Hopefully the Heldon album you bought is better than Stand By.

Here's a recent live performance (March 2012).  I think the one in Athens will consist of similar backing (guitar, drums, cello) but with local Athens musicians (a couple from Olivia Tremor Control, if you'v heard of them)

I haven't listened to this yet, but you might want to bookmark it - it's a complete live performance I think.

I thought Stand By was pretty good.  I used to own it but traded it in.  I'd buy it again though, if I saw it cheap.  I just wasn't really into electronic stuff at the time.  I think Interface is similar.

Hey, I think when it comes time to make a new shred, we should give it to Kevin. I think it'd be a nice thing to do.
