... ok, there are no big genres' tag possibilities for such music, anyway it's better than fusion I think

BTW did you listen new English pianist Alex Hutton's album, released in May?I saw the review on JazzWise... I received the CD from him just a week ago and was really pleasantly surprised - obviously EST influenced nu jazz, but with more flesh than usual Nordic/German versions, and groovy. Some nice vocals, a bit of Latin fusion and even some very English folksy and Canterbury scene's elements. Really nice release (BTW he works on radio as well)

No missed that one - sometimes I find Jazzwise  written style some what off putting, so flick through esp if most of article don't grab me

Listened last Brian Eno (2011) album - it's interesting in some compositions he returned back to Talking Heads (or Tom Tom Club) rhythms and sound

Already listened to new RTF, old well-known material, but very muscular, funky sound. New Aussie guitarist on board (played with Chick in his Elektrik Band)brings his energy

Youre not familar with Frank Gambale away from Corea? - excellent albums with Steve SMith and Tom Coster

follow his music before the Corea link up  - used to write o jazz fusion in a US guitarist magazine in the 80's and then there's the so called duet album with Holdsworth - Truth In Shredding - pity AH couldn't be coaxed into the same studio at the same time as Gambale
